Learning Experiences

PHILOSOPHY

We believe that executive and team coaching for boards and leadership are among the most effective investments your organization can make in building the capacity you need to execute successfully. At GLP, executive coaching is an essential skill set in all that we do—and all of our coaches are trained at Columbia University. Two of us are also trained and certified administrators for the Kolb Learning and Neethling Brain assessments.

EXECUTIVE COACHING

Organizations today make a tremendous financial investment in the leadership search process. Yet, many transitions still falter, even fail, depriving schools and organizations of the robust, sustained leadership they require. By providing training and support during entry and transition along with consulting expertise and executive coaching, Boards invest not just in the search process but also in what follows and matters most: a successful transition and committed tenure.

Executive Coaching is not Mentoring! Mentorship is a valuable resource to leaders, but it is grounded in another leader’s former experience. Executive Coaching blends management consulting and pedagogical, research-based approaches to developing leaders. Expect GLP’s trained and expert executive coaches to assess each leader, and organization, with objectivity and future-focused questions. We recognize old solutions will not solve the new problems facing leaders.

LEAdERSHIP TEAM COACHING

Increasingly, the success of schools and organizations depends on high-functioning and collaborative leadership teams. As trained facilitators, GLP coaches excel at surfacing issues, helping teams converge around a shared vision, creating accountability and executing with purpose. With certifications in a number of instruments, GLP has tools and methodologies for unleashing the insights and talents that help teams excel.

Facilitated Conversations, WOrkshops
and Keynotes

GLP addresses trends and core issues facing school and not for profit leadership in keynote talks that engage, inspire and provoke. We’d love to help your organization or your community come together to talk about the issues that matter most, design and learn together in workshop format, or engage in a keynote address that entertains, educates, and sparks meaningful conversation.

In Chapter 7, “A New Vision for Education,” Tony Wagner and Ted Dintersmith write: “We worked closely with Stephanie Rogen, CEO of Greenwich Leadership Partners, a national leader in helping schools design and implement effective change processes, whose widely respected work is reflected in these recommendations.”
